Team Lead Workday (f/m/d)A Snapshot of Your Day As part of a wider HR transformation program and the spin-off of Siemens Energy from Siemens, our company is in the process of standardizing and harmonizing its HR systems and services. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead (f/m/d) to manage a team of 10–12 Workday professionals responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of Siemens Energy’s Workday platform. This role will not only oversee operational excellence but also play a strategic part in shaping the Workday implementation and innovation roadmap, driving continuous improvement and alignment with business needs.This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a business in the forefront of the Energy Transition. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and develop the "Workday" team of ~10-12 senior professionals spread around the globe
- Own the functional Workday setup, ensure smooth operations and drive Workday implementation to replace existing HCM solutions at the same time
- Demonstrate drive and ownership for the transformation and evolution of our global HR IT landscape ranging currently from global cloud-based solutions like Workday, Avature and Service Now down to small local apps
- Support in the definition of lean, efficient and employee centric HR processes fuelling our global HR transformation
- Collaborate with and request feedback from internal and external business partners and other functions and process owners across the organization to ensure processes, roles and responsibilities are clearly defined and followed and HR system operations run successfully
- Practice continuous development of personal skills and knowledge to ensure our People Systems team is equipped to meet business demands and technological advancements / market trends
- University degree in IT, computer science, human resources or similar
- Enjoys and emphasizes the people side of leadership. Your experience in leading teams is characterized by a coach-oriented leadership style
- Experience in overseeing and guiding multi-HR IT projects in parallel on time and on budget
- Collaborative style, happy to interact with many stakeholders e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department, senior management
- Able to build trust and empower teams to deliver successfully
- Thrives in a global environment, working flexibly where required and prepared to work in English language most of the time
