Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with seating arrangements to enhance their experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff
• Upsell menu items and specials to maximize sales while providing personalized recommendations based on guest preferences
• Serve food and drinks promptly, maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and adhering to food safety protocols
• Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including processing payments via POS systems like OpenTable or cashiering procedures
• Foster positive guest relations through attentive service, addressing inquiries, resolving concerns promptly, and ensuring guest satisfaction

Requirements

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants
• Strong knowledge of POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, and OpenTable for order processing and reservations management
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that creates a welcoming atmosphere
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and sales upselling techniques
• Culinary or kitchen experience is a plus to better understand food preparation and handling procedures
• Knowledge of sanitation standards, food safety regulations, and proper food handling practices
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, or holidays as needed in a dynamic hospitality setting
