We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Orthodontic Treatment Coordinator/Front Office professional to join our vibrant dental team. In this role, you will serve as the first point of contact for patients, ensuring a welcoming experience while efficiently managing appointment scheduling. Your expertise in dental and orthodontic administrative support will help streamline clinic operations and enhance patient care. This position offers an exciting opportunity to combine clinical coordination with front desk responsibilities in a fast-paced, patient-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service at the front desk, managing multi-line phone systems with professionalism and courtesy.
- Schedule appointments accurately using orthodontic practice management software ensuring optimal clinic flow.
- Manage patient intake processes, including collecting medical history and reviewing documentation for completeness.
- Coordinate orthodontic treatment plans by explaining procedures, financing options, and care instructions clearly to patients.
- Maintain accurate medical records, process documentation review, and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality.
- Support clinic operations by managing office supplies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in dental or orthodontic front office roles with strong knowledge of dental terminology and medical coding practices.
- Familiarity with EMR systems such as Cloud 9, Dolphin , Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or similar platforms is highly preferred.
- Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), typing (including 10-key), and health information management software.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations, insurance verification processes.
- Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation review and office management tasks.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus to effectively communicate with diverse patient populations.
- Previous clinic experience in orthodontics or dental offices is highly desirable; familiarity with dental office management is a plus.

Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
