Duties

  • Support lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans tailored to toddler development stages
  • Assist with supervising children during activities, playtime, meals, and nap times to ensure safety and engagement
  • Help create a warm, welcoming classroom environment that encourages exploration and social interaction
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials and toys to promote hygiene and safety standards
  • Observe and document children's progress, behaviors, and needs to inform teaching strategies
  • Support behavior management techniques that foster positive social skills and emotional regulation
  • Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, first aid, special education needs, and caregiving best practices

Skills

  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles, including toddler development milestones
  • Experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or nannying settings
  • Familiarity with classroom management strategies and behavior management techniques
  • Certification or training in first aid and CPR for infants and children
  • Ability to work effectively with children with disabilities or special needs
  • Strong communication skills for collaborating with team members and engaging with parents
  • Compassionate caregiving skills combined with patience, adaptability, and enthusiasm for teaching young children

Pay: From $13.50 per hour
