Bartender

Duties

• Prepare and serve a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and presentation
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner to enhance their overall experience
• Manage POS (Point of Sale) systems Gotab POS to process orders accurately and swiftly
• Handle cash transactions, perform cashiering duties, and ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
• Monitor guest consumption responsibly, adhering to alcohol service regulations and promoting safe drinking practices.
• Manage time effectively during busy shifts to serve multiple guests efficiently without compromising quality
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to ensure smooth operation throughout the shift

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender is highly preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems is essential for accurate order processing
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests positively and professionally
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Excellent time management skills to handle fast-paced environments effectively
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate order totals
• Experience in serving alcohol responsibly in accordance with legal regulations
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and special events.
• Previous retail math or hospitality experience is advantageous for managing sales transactions efficiently
