Overview

National Mail & Digital Marketing Corp is seeking a
Senior Paid Media Manager
to support the continued growth of our digital practice. This role is responsible for executing, optimizing, and scaling paid media programs across paid search, paid social, and email marketing.

This is not a junior execution role. We are looking for a subject matter expert who can own day-to-day performance, understand client goals, and prescribe thoughtful digital strategies that align channels and tactics to outcomes. Digital media is a means to an end, not the strategy itself.

The ideal candidate is analytical, hands-on, and comfortable articulating decisions and results to both internal teams and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Client Strategy and Diagnosis

· Understand client business goals, constraints, and success metrics

· Translate objectives into clear, outcome-driven digital approaches

· Recommend channel mix and tactics based on goals, not platform bias

· Clearly explain rationale, tradeoffs, and performance implications

Paid Search (Primary Focus)

· Own day-to-day management and optimization of Google Ads programs

· Execute and optimize campaigns across Search, retargeting, Performance Max, and Demand Gen

· Apply strong understanding of search fundamentals including intent, match types, bidding, query mining, budget control, and pacing

· Evaluate when Performance Max and new Google features add value versus when alternatives are more appropriate

· Identify testing and expansion opportunities aligned to client goals

· Partner with creative and development teams to improve conversion paths and reduce friction

Paid Social

· Manage paid social campaigns with a primary focus on Meta platforms

· Develop audience and creative testing strategies across prospecting and retargeting

· Optimize performance based on results and learning, not platform defaults

Email Marketing and HubSpot

· Execute and optimize email programs within HubSpot

· Build segmentation using behavioral, lifecycle, and engagement data

· Align email strategy with paid media and broader GTM initiatives

· Interpret performance beyond surface metrics to inform optimization

Tracking, Measurement, and Analytics

· Maintain strong working knowledge of GA4 and Google Tag Manager

· Diagnose tracking and attribution issues across sites and platforms

· Ensure conversion tracking reflects meaningful business outcomes

· Use data to inform optimization and decision-making

SME Ownership and Stakeholder Communication

· Operate as a subject matter expert across paid search, paid social, and performance-driven digital media

· Explain not just what is happening, but why decisions are being made and how they support client goals

· Translate platform behavior and performance data into clear implications for risk, opportunity, and next steps

· Support internal planning, forecasting, and prioritization with data-grounded recommendations

· Contribute to GTM discussions by connecting execution details to broader business outcomes

Collaboration and Communication

· Act as a subject matter expert across performance-driven digital media

· Clearly communicate performance, insights, and recommendations

· Collaborate closely with digital, creative, data, and development teams

· Contribute to improving processes, standards, and best practices

Required Experience and Qualifications

· 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience across paid search and paid social

· Demonstrated ability to operate as a subject matter expert and strategic problem solver

· Deep understanding of paid search fundamentals beyond platform mechanics

· Strong experience managing Meta paid media programs

· 2 years of experience with HubSpot email marketing

· Comfortable owning programs independently and defending decisions with clarity

· Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight and action

· Clear communicator with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Experience

· SEO experience

· Agency or multi-client environment experience

· Exposure to CRO, landing page optimization, or user journey analysis
