Warehouse Associate/Delivery Driver

ABOUT CED:

Consolidated Electrical Distributors (CED) is looking for a Full-Time entry level employee that would appreciate long term promotion opportunities as part of a growing team. This position is in our St. George, Utah location. This is not a temporary position.

POSITION INFORMATION:

Summary:

· Ensure the smooth and accurate flow of material as it arrives into, and is assembled to leave our facility thru a variety of shipping methods. Perform all required duties to serve customers and support team goals.

Compensation:

· $16 to $18 Per Hour DOE + Benefits + Profit Sharing

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

· Represent CED in a professional and appropriate manner

· Sort and identify varied products and part numbers

· Locate and re-stock product in assigned locations

· Process documentation in a manner consistent with CED policy

· Assemble sales orders accurately and in a timely fashion

Position Schedule:

· Monday thru Friday, with an occasional Saturday

· 40 hour work week during normal business hours of 6:30am to 5:30pm

· Some Overtime may occur, and some may be required

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Qualifications:

· High School Diploma, or equal

· Minimum of 18 Years Old

· Valid Driver's License with acceptable record

Competencies:

· Read, write, and understand English

· Perform basic math functions in addition, subtraction, multiplication and division

· Understand typical American Standard units of weights & measurements

Physical Requirements:

· Stand, Bend, Twist, Lift, Reach, and Walk with frequent repetition

· Stoop, kneel, crouch, with occasional sitting

· Listen and speak clearly

· Clear vision, or corrected vision, for near, moderate, and distance

· Lift 50lbs unassisted

Personal Traits:

· Self-confident with a team oriented motivation

· Assertive while being service oriented

· Energetic with a mature approach

· Dutiful, self-controlled, with a touch of perfectionism

Supervisory Responsibilities:

· No supervisory responsibilities in this role, but potential to become such is desirable
