General Cleaner

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented General Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across various facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial, residential, or industrial cleaning, with a focus on creating a hygienic and welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in diverse settings, including offices, industrial sites, and residential properties, ensuring all spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and maintenance.

Monday - Friday

10am - 2pm

20hrs/week

$16.00/hr

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal
• Conduct specialized cleaning tasks including floor care, buffing, and custodial maintenance
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas in accordance with health standards
• Use cleaning equipment and supplies efficiently and safely
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting as needed
• Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff and visitors
• Maintain detailed records of cleaning activities and supply inventory
• Collaborate with team members to complete cleaning schedules promptly and thoroughly

Qualifications

• Proven experience in janitorial, custodial, or commercial cleaning preferred
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and stripping is a plus
• Experience with industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is desirable
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various settings
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
• Reliable work ethic with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 per hour
