As a Senior BI Developer, you'll transform complex data into meaningful insights that drive business decisions. Based in a collaborative IT environment, this role is hands-on in designing and delivering impactful reports and dashboards using tools like Tableau, SSRS, and Crystal Reports. You'll act as a key contributor across multiple functions - data architecture, SQL programming, ETL development, and report visualization - while mentoring team members and partnering with stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Do- Design, build, and deploy dashboards, self-service tools, and reports using Tableau, SSRS, and Crystal Reports
- Translate complex data into clear visual stories that are easy to understand and act on
- Support and optimize ETL integrations with third-party vendors using SSIS and other tools
- Work with large datasets to perform ad-hoc analysis that informs key decisions
- Create centralized data sources by pulling from multiple systems and streamlining processes
- Review and refine SQL queries and BI solutions for performance and accuracy
- Collaborate with business units to align data strategy with enterprise analytics goals
- Document and maintain procedures for reporting infrastructure and support
- Proactively seek opportunities to improve reporting tools and data operations
- Communicate effectively across teams and functions to deliver insights that matter
- Assist with other tasks as assigned
Experience That Drives Success
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or related field
- Minimum of 7+ years of T-SQL development, 5+ years of SSIS (ETL) development, 5+ years of SSRS report development), and 3+ years of Tableau dashboard/report creation
- Proven success working within IT or Business Intelligence teams
- Experience developing, planning, designing, and troubleshooting BI tools
- Solid understanding of data warehouse architecture and database systems
- Experience with ERP systems – like Epicor or Sage – is a plus

This is a full-time position, on-site at our St. Louis, MO office. Hybrid work may be a possibility after an initial training period.
