Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and technically skilled SWISS LATHE CNC Application and Service Engineer to join our innovative manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing expert application support, troubleshooting, and maintenance for ESCOMATIC CNC used across various manufacturing facilities. Your expertise will ensure optimal machine performance, seamless integration of CNC systems, and exceptional customer service. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with an international Swiss company with the chance to be trained at the headquarters in Switzerland.

Duties

  • Provide technical application support for CNC machines, ensuring proper setup, programming, and operation in manufacturing environments.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CNC equipment, including electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and control system components.
  • Conduct on-site field service visits to install, calibrate, maintain, and repair CNC machinery across multiple manufacturing facilities.
  • Collaborate with clients and internal teams to optimize CNC programming using schematics, technical drawings, and precision measuring instruments.
  • Support the integration of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), HMIs (Human-Machine Interfaces), and CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) for efficient machine operation.
  • Assist in training operators and maintenance personnel on CNC machine features, safety protocols, and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Perform analysis using tools such as ammeters, ohmmeters, and multimeters to diagnose electrical issues involving low voltage and high voltage systems.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards related to welding ( welding), hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, and industrial mechanics.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of service activities, repairs, schematics updates, and maintenance logs for continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience working within manufacturing facilities supporting CNC machinery or industrial maintenance roles.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience in industrial settings.
  • Familiarity with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, and industrial electrician practices.
  • Hands-on experience with hydraulic systems, HVAC/R systems, welding techniques ( welding), and precision measuring instruments.
  • Ability to analyze electrical circuits using ammeters, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic tools.
  • Knowledge of CMMS platforms for maintenance tracking and reporting.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving in field service environments.
  • Strong communication skills in English to effectively collaborate with team members and clients worldwide.
  • Industrial mechanic experience or military background is a plus for understanding complex systems under demanding conditions.
  • Valid certifications in industrial electrician work or related fields are advantageous.
