Dental Receptionist

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly organized Dental Front Office professional to join our growing practice. The ideal candidate is a proactive multitasker with strong communication skills, extensive dental office experience, and proficiency in Dentrix. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations and delivering exceptional patient experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage front desk operations, including patient check-in/check-out
• Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently
• Verify insurance benefits, submit claims, and manage follow-ups
• Collect copays, process payments, and manage accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate patient records in Dentrix
• Answer phones, handle inquiries, and coordinate patient communication
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative team members to ensure workflow efficiency
• Handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3 years of dental office front office experience (required)
• Proficiency in Dentrix (required)
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of dental insurance, billing, and treatment planning
• Professional demeanor with a strong focus on patient care
• Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with insurance verification and claims management
• Ability to remain calm and efficient under pressure
