Akkodis is seeking an
Azure Infrastructure Architect
for a
Contract
with a client in
Montvale, NJ.
The ideal candidates have specialized in architecting end‑to‑end Azure infrastructure solutions for complex enterprise environments.

Rate Range:
$64/hour to $68/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Azure Infrastructure Architect Job Responsibilities Include

• Translate complex business requirements into detailed Azure architecture and design documents that can be implemented by engineering teams.
• Lead the solution design and implementation of Azure PaaS services, ensuring secure, scalable, and optimized cloud environments.
• Architect cloud infrastructure with strong focus on Azure security, networking, Application Gateway, and governance best practices.
• Build and automate cloud deployment pipelines using Azure DevOps and Terraform to support repeatable, reliable infrastructure delivery.
• Oversee full lifecycle cloud implementations, from requirements gathering through design, development, testing, and deployment.
• Work directly with clients to provide cloud guidance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend architecture improvements aligned with business needs.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 8–12+ years of IT experience with strong hands‑on architecture and design experience in Azure cloud environments.
• Proven expertise in Azure PaaS solution design, Azure security, networking, Application Gateway, and cloud architecture best practices.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps, Terraform automation, and leading full lifecycle cloud implementations from requirements to deployment.

Pay Details:
$64.00 to $68.00 per hour
