Restaurant Host/Hostess

Job Overview
The BRAND NEW Bag O Crab is the place people come to kick back, eat great food, and have a good time. We're a high-energy, fast-paced spot, and we're looking for a Host/Hostess who knows how to set the vibe the moment guests walk through the door.

What You'll Do

• Welcome every guest with a big smile and great attitude
• Keep the vibe upbeat while managing the seating chart and waitlist
• Stay on top of table turns to keep the flow moving smoothly
• Answer phones, take names, and help guests with questions
• Take and input all takeout / to-go orders
• Keep the lobby/host stand clean, organized, and guest-ready
• Support the front-of-house team however needed during busy shifts
• Be the "face" of the restaurant—your energy matters

What We're Looking For

• Previous restaurant experience in a host/hostess role is preferred
• Familiarity with POS systems and OpenTable systems is an advantage.
• A naturally friendly, outgoing personality
• Someone who thrives in a lively, fast-paced environment
• Strong multitasking and communication skills
• Ability to stay cool when things get busy
• Weekend and evening availability
• No experience? No problem—if you bring the energy, we'll train you

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
