The Application and Design Engineer II is a critical role in the development, design, and testing of new products while also providing advanced technical support to customers. This position requires a deeper level of expertise and autonomy in managing projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and influencing product development to align with market needs and industry trends.

Specific responsibilities may include:

· Lead the analysis, development, and recommendation of design approaches to meet production and customer requirements for existing, new, or improved products and/or processes.

· Conduct research to identify applications, performance criteria, and functional requirements, ensuring that designs meet customer specifications and industry regulations.

· Develop and evaluate multiple product design solutions, balancing factors such as corporate image, market research, applications engineering, human factors, manufacturing constraints, materials, safety, aesthetics, and cost considerations.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Manufacturing, and Quality, to drive successful product development and implementation.

· Produce conceptual prototypes and validate designs through engineering calculations, testing, and analysis.

· Serve as a key technical advisor to customers, providing in-depth engineering support and resolving complex technical inquiries.

· Develop and deliver training on Teadit products and services, including relevant industry codes and standards.

· Support and participate in the organization's continual improvement program to conform to ISO 9001:2008 requirements by complying with the Quality Policy and procedures and meeting QMS objectives.

· Other duties as assigned.

2.0 REQUIREMENTS

2.1 EDUCATION AND TRAINING

· Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related technical field.

· Experience as described below may be accepted in lieu of education.

2.2 EXPERIENCE

· A minimum of three (3) years of experience in application engineering, engineering design, product development, or related technical roles.

· Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus.

· Experience with bolted joint assemblies and sealing technologies is a plus.

· Education as described above may be accepted in lieu of experience.

Pay: From $80,000.00 per year
