Food Runner

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. This position requires a passion for food, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Duties

• Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area efficiently and accurately.
• Ensure that all orders are complete and meet quality standards before serving to guests.
• Assist servers in managing table settings and maintaining cleanliness throughout the dining area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of meals.
• Communicate effectively with team members to facilitate smooth operations during busy periods.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures at all times.
• Clear and reset tables to restaurant guidelines.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with a strong understanding of food handling and safety practices.
• Experience in bussing and food running is a plus, as is any background in hospitality or guest services.
• Strong communication skills are essential for effective interaction with guests and team members alike.
