Job Summary

Community Investment Group, LLC / Kev Property Management is dedicated to providing top-notch facility management and maintenance services for both residential and commercial properties. We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Community/Property Manager to lead the day-to-day operations of our residential apartment communities in this area. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who understands leasing, resident relations, financial oversight, and team accountability.

The Community Manager is responsible for driving property performance while maintaining a positive resident experience and strong on-site culture..

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations of the apartment community
  • Supervise, train, and lead on-site leasing and maintenance teams
  • Drive leasing activity, occupancy, and renewals
  • Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and Virginia landlord-tenant regulations
  • Handle resident concerns, escalations, and conflict resolution
  • Oversee rent collections, delinquencies, and reporting
  • Monitor budgets, expenses, and invoice approvals
  • Conduct regular property inspections to maintain curb appeal and safety
  • Partner with maintenance on work orders, turns, and preventative maintenance
  • Coordinate with corporate teams on payroll, HR, and operational reporting

Qualifications

Required:

  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Customer Service Skills to increase tenant satisfaction and retention
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Experience using property management software (AppFolio preferred)

Preferred:

  • 2+ years of experience in apartment property management
  • Previous experience as a Community Manager or Assistant Community Manager
  • Experience managing 150+ unit communities
  • Budgeting and financial reporting experience
  • Ability to work occasional weekends or after-hours as needed

Pay: $52, $68,000.00 per year
