Amore Learning is seeking an energetic and experienced Cheerleading Teacher to lead a fun, beginner-friendly afterschool class for students in Grades K–4 at The Hewitt School. This class focuses on confidence-building, teamwork, and the joy of movement—not competition.

What You'll Do:

• Teach foundational cheer skills (motions, jumps, simple chants, and basic routines) in an age-appropriate and encouraging way
• Foster a positive, supportive environment where young students feel safe to try new skills
• Plan engaging weekly lessons that emphasize teamwork, rhythm, and school spirit
• Ensure student safety and manage the class with warmth and structure
• Communicate clearly with Amore Learning staff as needed

What We're Looking For:

• Prior cheerleading experience (school, competitive, or recreational)
• Experience working with young children—especially early elementary
• A positive, upbeat presence and strong classroom management
• Ability to break skills down into simple, fun steps
• Reliability and professionalism

Schedule & Compensation:

• Once-weekly afterschool class (specific day/time to be confirmed)
• Competitive hourly rate based on experience
