Medical Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and support within various medical settings, including clinics, emergency medicine, and inpatient facilities. Duties

• Provide medical administrative support by managing patient records, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
• Assist healthcare professionals in delivering patient care by preparing examination rooms and ensuring necessary supplies are available.
• Perform vital signs checks, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse, while accurately documenting results in patient records.
• Support dermatology procedures by preparing patients for examinations and assisting with minor surgical procedures as needed.
• Deliver exceptional patient service by addressing inquiries, providing education on treatment plans, and ensuring a comfortable environment for patients.
• Maintain compliance with safety protocols and basic life support (BLS) standards during all interactions with patients.
• Collaborate effectively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient flow and continuity of care.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a medical administrative support role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with inpatient care settings and emergency medicine practices is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of medical-surgical procedures and terminology.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs and performing basic life support techniques.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service excellence.
• Ability to work well under pressure in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
• Certification as a Medical Assistant or equivalent training is preferred.
