SUMMARY OF POSITION
The IT Associate Intern will support Jabil's IT teams in maintaining the functionality, efficiency, and reliability of the organization's technology ecosystem. This role is designed to provide exposure to a wide range of IT functions including technology support, systems management, data security, documentation, and project coordination. The intern will work closely under the guidance of experienced IT professionals, contributing to daily operations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives while developing foundational technical and professional skills.
INTERN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with technical and administrative tasks to support the functionality of IT systems and processes.
Collaborate with IT team members To support departmental standards and performance.
Provide support to end users by following established processes and delivering a positive customer experience.
Help maintain documentation of systems, processes, procedures, and user support activities.
Participate in improvement initiatives to streamline processes, reduce redundancy, and increase efficiency.
Support IT project activities including meeting coordination, task tracking, and basic implementation steps.
Assist with maintaining compliance with IT policies, data security guidelines, and confidentiality requirements.
Shadow team members, ask questions, and participate in knowledge-sharing sessions within the department.
QUALIFICATIONS
Major(s): Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering
Class Year: Rising Junior, Rising Senior
GPA: Min 3.0
Availability: Must be available to work in Hunt Valley, MD from May 18, August 7, 2026
- Basic proficiency with personal computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Business acumen and understanding of how IT supports organizational strategy.
