About the Role

As the Assistant Retail Manager, you'll play a vital role in ensuring a smooth and enjoyable shopping experience for our customers while supporting the Store Manager in daily operations. This is a full-time position that adjusts with our seasonal demands, making it perfect for someone who enjoys a fast-paced summer and a steadier winter rhythm.

Seasonal Schedule & Hours

• Peak Season (April – September): Minimum of 42 hours per week.
• Requirement: Every Saturday (April – August).
• Requirement: Rotating Sundays (May – August).
• Off-Peak Season (October – March): Minimum of 35 hours per week.
• Requirement: Rotating Saturdays (October – February).
• Benefit: Closed Sundays (September – April).

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Excellence: Prioritize in-store customer satisfaction, addressing issues promptly and ensuring a positive shopping environment.
• Team Leadership: Collaborate with and motivate team members to meet store goals and maintain high morale.
• Operational Support: Act as Second-in-Command to the Store Manager, helping with scheduling, daily operations, and leadership tasks.
• Hands-on Management: Cover store shifts as needed and assist customers with product inquiries, returns, and technical problem resolution.
• Store Standards: Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment at all times.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years in retail or customer service (management experience is a plus).
• Skills: Strong leadership, interpersonal skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability: Must be able to commit to the seasonal hour increases and weekend requirements listed above.
