Position Overview

Draftco Designs, LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Architectural Drafter to join our dynamic team. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse architectural projects while collaborating with experienced professionals in a supportive office environment.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience as an Architectural Drafter or in a similar role
• Proficiency in Revit and CAD software. Sketchup and other programs are welcome
• Strong understanding of architectural trends and current construction methods
• Excellent design and spatial awareness skills
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet project deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions

Key Responsibilities

• Design and plan comprehensive site plans and building floor plans
• Draft detailed blueprints and technical drawings with precision and accuracy
• Select appropriate materials based on project specifications, budget, and design requirements
• Meet with clients to discuss project requirements, present design concepts, and incorporate feedback
• Collaborate with other disciplines including engineers, contractors, and design consultants
• Review and revise drawings based on client feedback and project changes
• Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, regulations, and industry standards
• Maintain organized project files and documentation
• Perform additional day-to-day responsibilities as required to support project completion

Work Environment

• Primary office setting with occasional site visits
• Some travel required for client consultations and site inspections
• Fast-paced environment requiring flexibility and adaptability

Compensation
