Maintenance Technician

We're looking for a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to join our team In this role, you'll play a key part in keeping our community safe, functional, and well-maintained. Responsibilities

• Respond to and complete resident work orders in a timely and professional manner
• Perform general repairs and upkeep, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, painting, and appliance maintenance
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance to reduce emergency repairs and extend the life of equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to determine the most efficient repair solutions
• Maintain and organize tools, equipment, and supply inventory
• Ensure work areas are clean, safe, and in compliance with safety standards
• Assist with unit turns and prepare vacant homes for new residents
• Oversee and coordinate work performed by outside contractors as needed
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, facilities, property management, or a related field (residential or commercial)
• Working knowledge of maintenance tools, equipment, and common repair practices
• Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and handle a physical workload in a variety of weather conditions
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required
