Hospice Aide/CNA

We are seeking compassionate Hospice Aide (CNA/HHA) to provide essential support to hospice patients in their homes or community settings. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients, particularly those with terminal illness, Alzheimer's, or dementia. This is a Part-time PRN and offers a flexible schedule that works for you, a buildable schedule perfect for you with other jobs or commitments.

Per visit: $30 per visit assignment

Duties

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitor and document vital signs and changes in patient conditions.
• Administer medications as prescribed and ensure proper medication management.
• Assist with catheter care, colostomy care, and use of Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers while ensuring their safety.
• Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote mental stimulation and well-being.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance client quality of life.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as meal preparation, cleaning, and laundry.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospice care settings preferred
• CNA or HHA certification required
• Proof of current CPR and TB Test (Required)
• Active CNA license in the state of employment (Required)
• Driver's license and reliable vehicle with insurance (Required)
• Reliable transportation is a must
• Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem, PRN

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
