Role Description

McGill Family Practice is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a full-time, on-site role in Papillion, NE. The LPN will perform day-to-day tasks, including preparing patients for exams, administering medications and treatments, collecting samples for testing, and documenting patient information accurately in medical records. Key aspects of the role also involve coordinating with care teams, providing patient education, and assisting providers during procedures. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential to ensure efficient and effective patient care.

Qualifications

• Clinical skills such as administering medications, taking vital signs, and performing basic patient assessments
• Safeguarding patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
• Proficient communication skills to provide patient education and collaborate with healthcare teams
• Ability to prioritize and manage tasks effectively in a fast-paced setting
• Active and unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Nebraska
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification current or willingness to obtain
• Experience in a family practice or outpatient care setting is a plus
