Waitress/Cashier

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and a commitment to providing exceptional guest experiences. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that each guest has a memorable dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using Aloha POS or Micros POS systems.
• Provide recommendations on menu items and upsell specials to enhance the dining experience.
• Ensure timely delivery of food and beverages to guests while maintaining attention to detail.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal and address any concerns promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables as needed.
• Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines during food preparation and service.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely order completion.
• Process payments accurately through cash handling and basic math skills.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is preferred, with fine dining experience being a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and satisfaction.
• Knowledge of food handling practices, sanitation standards, and food safety regulations.
• Culinary experience or kitchen experience is an advantage but not mandatory.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by the restaurant schedule.
