Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring all equipment is maintained to manufacturer standards including evaluating and implementing maintenance processes and protocols.
- Provide mechanical, structural and rotating equipment support; maintaining optimum functionality for equipment by performing inspections, preventative maintenance and repairs
- Complete scheduled service to all major equipment including compressors, dust collectors, paint spray systems, sandblasting equipment, air makeup equipment, etc
- Complete work of fabrication of small to moderate steel fixtures, such as trays and supports for equipment needs
- Complete work within the fabrication/weld department to include but not limited to CNC lasers, fiber optics, CO2, Whitney punch, press brake, turn rolls, angle punch, beam lines.
- Complete work within the paint department to include but not limited to powder coating line, conveyors, blaster, wash station, preheat/cure ovens, paint booth.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date maintenance records to include all repairs and equipment specifications
- Ensure that maintenance shop is organized and maintain inventory of standard parts and tools
- Perform work safely in accordance with federal, state and local laws as well as company policies and procedures including by not limited to lock out tag out, hot work permits, etc.
- Use data analysis to help prepare for and prevent future problems
- Enforce all health and safety rules and regulations according to state/federal laws and company policy and protocol
- Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems
- Perform other functions as directed

· Minimum 4 years of experience working in maintenance in an industrial environment
· Extensive knowledge in hydraulics, mechanical systems with preference given to previous bolted tank production experience
· TPM knowledge
· Proficiency in grinding, torch cutting and welding
· Ability to read mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic blueprints
· Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain high levels of productivity without direct supervision
· Effective communication to provide direction to contractors
· Excellent computer skills to include Microsoft Office products
· Ability to multitask and prioritize work
· Ability to learn quickly, work autonomously and address any issues that arise 24/7
· Fine motor skills to use power and hand tools
· Ability to work at heights up to 10 meters
· Ability to work in a not climate-controlled environment
· Ability to adhere to PPE requirements (hard hat, safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hearing protection, uniforms, gloves, masks, etc.)
· Must be able to lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds individually, team lifting/mechanical techniques for any work processes that exceed 51 pounds
· Must be able to work in a noisy work environment (hearing protection available)
· Must be able to work in a dusty work environment (masks available)
· On-call availability for equipment breakdowns during evenings and weekends
· Dusty, noisy, industrial environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
