Job Summary
The IT Support Specialist plays a key role in ensuring a reliable and secure technology experience for associates across the organization. This role provides professional, courteous technical support by answering and resolving incoming phone, email, and in-person requests in a timely manner. The Support Specialist is responsible for setting up and maintaining equipment, installing software and operating systems, performing minor hardware and software repairs, and troubleshooting both routine and complex technical issues. With a strong focus on data security and confidentiality, this role helps protect sensitive information while partnering with internal teams to identify root causes and resolve higher-level system issues efficiently.
Key Deliverables And Responsibilities
- Answer and problem-solve incoming telephone, e-mail and in-person technical support requests from associates professionally and courteously to facilitate timely resolution
- Set up equipment for associate use, performing and ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software
- Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or equipment to meet user needs
- Manage sensitive and confidential matters though planning and protecting security of information, data and files
- Assist in determining source and troubleshooting high-level system problems

They are organized, adaptable, and proactive, with a strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn new systems and technologies while collaborating effectively with internal teams to deliver timely, secure solutions.
Salary Range:
$20-22 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate based on the ideal candidate's qualifications, the company's operational needs, and other factors permitted by law. Actual compensation may vary depending on experience, skills, education, performance, internal equity, and geographic location.

Work Environments
This role offers a hybrid schedule, requiring three days weekly in the office. Applicants should be located near one of our hubs (Fairfield, IA or Phoenix, AZ) and must be willing to work this schedule. Cambridge is not considering remote candidates at this time.
