Lead Technician

We're seeking a master-level technician who thrives on diagnosing and repairing a diverse range of machinery. We specialize in selling, servicing, and renting top-tier construction and industrial tools, including concrete trowels, pumps, mini excavators, skid steers, scissor lifts, small engines, and more. Ideal candidates bring hands-on experience across a broad spectrum of equipment types.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform expert maintenance and repairs on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for both rental and customer-owned equipment, leveraging independent judgment to ensure optimal performance.
• Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving engine, electrical, and hydraulic issues, with strong welding capabilities.
• Travel to customer job sites as needed to conduct on-site repairs and maintenance, while keeping your service vehicle clean and professionally maintained.
• Mentor and train junior technicians to build team expertise.
• Accurately document work performed through paperwork and electronic systems, completing work orders in a timely manner daily.
• Support equipment pick-up, delivery, and parts handling.
• Take on additional duties as required to support our team's success.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in equipment and tool repair/maintenance.
• Advanced mechanical aptitude, including in-depth knowledge of tools, schematics, and diagrams.
• Extensive expertise in construction equipment, with the ability to handle a wide variety of systems confidently.
• Ownership of personal tools relevant to the role.
• Exceptional customer service skills, strong teamwork abilities, and effective verbal/written communication.
• Physical capability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs.
