Summary:

The Program Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day planning, coordination, and implementation of recovery-oriented programs and services at the Recovery Community Center (RCC). This position plays a critical role in ensuring that all activities align with recovery-oriented systems of care (ROSC), trauma-informed principles, and best practices for substance use recovery support.

The Program Coordinator serves as a central point of contact for program operations, peer-led activities, community partnerships, participant engagement, and grant-supported deliverables.

Description:

Program Development & Implementation

Plan, coordinate, and oversee recovery-support programs, including peer support groups,

educational workshops, life-skills training, and community events

Ensure all programming aligns with RCC mission, grant requirements, and evidence-

based or evidence-informed practices

Develop program schedules, activity calendars, and service workflows

Monitor program participation and outcomes to ensure effectiveness and continuous

improvement

Coordination & Operations

Coordinate daily RCC operations to ensure smooth delivery of services

Support peer support specialists and volunteers with scheduling, materials, and logistical

needs

Maintain program documentation, attendance records, and participant data in compliance

with confidentiality requirements (HIPAA/42 CFR Part 2, as applicable)

Assist with intake processes, referrals, and follow-up for participants

Grant & Compliance Support

Assist leadership with grant implementation, reporting, and compliance activities

Track program deliverables, performance measures, and timelines required by funders

Collect and organize data, narratives, and success stories for reports and evaluations

Ensure programs adhere to local, state, and federal guidelines

Community Outreach & Partnerships

Serve as a liaison between the RCC and community partners, including healthcare

providers, treatment programs, social service agencies, courts, schools, and faith-based

organizations

Coordinate outreach activities, presentations, and community education events

Promote RCC services through collaboration, referral networks, and public engagement

Participant Engagement & Support

Foster a welcoming, recovery-affirming environment for participants and families

Encourage participant involvement in programming and peer-led initiatives

Assist with connecting participants to recovery resources, transportation, housing,

employment, and other supportive services

Administrative & Team Support

Participate in staff meetings, trainings, and professional development activities

Assist with policy and procedure development related to programming

Support evaluation efforts and quality improvement initiatives

Perform other duties as assigned to support the RCC mission
