If so, come join our team at Tomorrow's Promise Youth Homes We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Residential Assistants to join us in providing high-quality care for our youth residents in a supportive and nurturing environment. Ideal candidates will have experience working with youth(Girls) ranging from ages 10-17yrs. This position is crucial in promoting the physical, mental and emotional well-being of our youth residents and ensuring their safety and comfort.

Shifts: Our residential homes operate 24hrs per day, 7 days a week. We are seeking individuals to cover full-time and part-time.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive and supportive environment
• Maintain a safe, clean, and nurturing environment within the residence.
• Ensure adherence to rules and policies, addressing any behavioral issues with appropriate interventions
• Maintain a clean and safe living environment for all residents, including housekeeping duties, meal preparations, laundry, etc
• Utilize electronic charting systems for documentation of care provided, behaviors and interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals, family members, and other staff.
• Provide behavior management support for residents with specific behavioral needs.

Experience and Education:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Previous experience working with youth
• Experience in caregiving roles within home & community care or personal care homes is beneficial.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• A valid driver's license may be required for transportation purposes.

Physical Requirements:

• Be able to lift at least 50lbs
• Ability to squat, bend hips and knee's as necessary
• Stand for extended periods of time
