Transportation Coodinator

Position Summary: The Home Health Driver is responsible for safely transporting clients to and from medical appointments, therapy sessions, adult day programs, and other authorized destinations. The driver ensures a safe, comfortable, and courteous experience for clients while maintaining compliance with agency policies and state transportation regulations. Must be 25 years old with a clean driving record.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate agency vehicles to transport clients between their homes and designated locations.
• Assist clients in and out of the vehicle, providing mobility support as needed (e.g., walkers, wheelchairs).
• Ensure clients are securely seated and all safety restraints are properly fastened.
• Maintain accurate trip logs, mileage records, and schedules.
• Follow assigned routes and schedules while accommodating changes or delays professionally.
• Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report any maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean, sanitized, and well-maintained in accordance with agency standards.
• Communicate courteously and respectfully with clients, caregivers, and staff.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and agency safety policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of client information in compliance with HIPAA and company policy.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of driving experience (Preferred but not mandatory)
• Current CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
