Room Inspector/Attendant

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of guest rooms, suites, and public areas to verify cleanliness, safety, and overall presentation.
• Perform detailed cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, changing linens, and sanitizing bathrooms to uphold hygiene standards.
• Carry out floor care tasks such as polishing tiles or carpets to maintain a pristine appearance.
• Identify maintenance issues or damages during inspections and promptly report them to the appropriate departments for resolution.
• Ensure all housekeeping supplies are stocked and organized efficiently for quick access during cleaning routines.
• Follow established protocols for industrial cleaning and custodial procedures to maintain high standards of sanitation.
• Assist with housekeeping management tasks when needed, including training new staff or coordinating cleaning schedules.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality environments—hotel experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of floor care techniques and industrial cleaning methods.
• Familiarity with housekeeping management practices is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods during shifts.
• Prior custodial or janitorial experience demonstrating reliability and professionalism.
