* **Proven Track Record:** At least 3–5 years of high-volume line experience, with prior experience in a lead or supervisory role.
* **Technical Mastery:** Advanced knife skills and proficiency across multiple stations (Saute, Grill, Prep).
* **Leadership Mindset:** A calm-under-pressure demeanor and the ability to motivate a team during a "rush."
* **Fine Dining/Catering Background:** While not required, experience in elevated service environments is a significant plus.
* **Reliability:** A commitment to the craft and the team, with a focus on punctuality and professional communication.

- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and quality standards
- Lead kitchen staff during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and timely service
- Oversee food safety practices, including proper handling, storage, and sanitation procedures
- Assist in menu planning and ingredient selection to optimize quality and cost-efficiency
- Supervise food preparation processes, ensuring consistency and presentation standards are met
- Train and mentor junior kitchen staff on cooking techniques, safety protocols, and best practices
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Manage inventory levels and communicate supply needs to procurement teams
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling procedures
- Experience in menu planning and meal preparation for various dietary needs
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to oversee kitchen operations effectively
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in various cooking techniques
- Background in fine dining or catering is a plus
- Familiarity with dietary aide experience or dietary department operations is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented attitude
