AI Agentic Workflow Engineer

We're seeking an AI Agentic Workflow Engineer to design, build, and deploy intelligent automation systems that solve real business problems using an AI-first approach.

What You'll Do

• Build, deploy, optimize, and extend AI agents that autonomously complete simple through complex multi-user / multi-step workflows

• Design intelligent automation dashboards and related systems using LLMs, APIs, and integration standards, protocols, and platforms

• Implement solutions that prioritize AI-enabled, flexible/robust capabilities over traditional hand-coding

• Orchestrate complex workflows combining multiple AI models, data types/sources, and tools

• Optimize agent performance, reliability, maintainability, and cost-effectiveness

Required Skills & Experience

• Hands-on experience building production AI agent systems (not just experimentation)

• Strong prompt engineering and LLM orchestration skills

• Solid familiarity with best practices, protocols, standards, and open-source agentic and related tools

• Practical experience with agent frameworks and workflow automation platforms

• Understanding of when to use AI vs. traditional logic

• Ability to evaluate and select appropriate tools for specific use cases

• Problem-solving mindset focused on outcomes over technical purity

• Agent Frameworks: LangChain, CrewAI, AutoGen, Semantic Kernel

• Workflow Platforms: n8n, Make, Zapier, Temporal

• LLM APIs: OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, local models

• MCP & Integrations: Model Context Protocol, API orchestration

• Vector Databases: Pinecone, Weaviate, Chroma

• Monitoring: LangSmith, Helicone, custom observability tools

Nice to Have

• Experience with RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) systems

• Familiarity with Python or JavaScript for custom integrations when needed

• Understanding of cost optimization for LLM applications

• Experience with AI safety and reliability practices
