Service Technician

Summary/Objective:

The Service Technician is responsible for performing install jobs (roofing, siding, gutters, etc.), maintenance, and inspections while ensuring quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing and repairing roofing issues, completing service calls efficiently, and maintaining clear communication with customers and team members. The Service Technician is expected to uphold company policies and safety standards while delivering professional and reliable service.

Essential Functions:

1. Perform service calls, maintenance, and inspections according to company standards.

2. Diagnose and assess roofing issues, leaks, and damages accurately.

3. Safely and effectively utilize roofing tools, equipment, and materials.

4. Communicate with customers professionally, explaining findings and service recommendations.

5. Document all work performed, including taking photos and completing service reports in the Acculynx Field Application.

6. Ensure all work is completed in compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety protocols.

7. Collaborate with team members and management to schedule and complete service calls efficiently.

8. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including company vehicles and equipment.

9. Identify and report additional repair needs or potential issues to management.

10. Follow company policies and procedures for operations, customer interactions, and digital data management.

11. Stay up to date on new roofing materials, technologies, and repair techniques.

General Functions:

Adhere to all company policies for Operations, Communications, and Digital Data.

Hold all co-workers accountable in a productive, professional, and constructive manner.

Provide excellent customer service, maintaining positive client relationships. Assist in training new team members as needed. Complete additional duties as assigned.
