Business Development Manager (FT) - HOAMCO (Scottsdale, AZ
This is an in-office position based out of our Scottsdale office. The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new management contracts for HOAMCO. This role manages all new client intake, prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and partners with Corporate and Marketing to support company-wide growth.
Travel is required.

WORK HOURS:
- Full-time position; Monday–Friday. Flexible schedule. Occasional evening commitments based on prospect or board requirements.
- Travel required for presentations, site visits, conferences, and industry events.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum 3 years of HOA management or HOA industry experience is required.
- Sales or business development experience required.
- Strong understanding of community management operations, board governance, contract structures, and industry terminology.
- Proven ability to manage proposals, contracts, and multiple concurrent prospects. Community management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present professionally to boards and committees.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Corporate, Regional Directors, Accounting, and Operations. Community management
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Community management
- Proficiency in CRM systems, proposal software, and Microsoft Office.
JOB DUTIES:
- Manage all incoming leads and new client inquiries for associations under 800 doors.
- Conduct intake calls, gather community information, and schedule site visits.
- Prepare, write, and deliver proposals in coordination with Corporate, Regional Directors, and Operations teams.
- Lead contract discussions and negotiate terms.
- Coordinate fee structures and fee increases with Stacy Maule and Corporate.
- Work with Marketing to obtain materials, presentations, and branded collateral.
- Represent HOAMCO at meetings, presentations, events, and industry functions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline updates, and reporting as requested.
