OVERVIEW:
The Store Director oversees daily operations in their assigned dispensary. This position requires exemplary organization and customer service, thorough product knowledge and time management skills. The Store Director needs to lead their team by example in their mannerism and professionalism. They are responsible for scheduling and training, inventory audits, maintaining a positive and productive work environment, engaging with the local community, managing and delegating tasks, addressing concerns from the staff and maintaining a compliant workplace. The Store Director reports to the Director of Retail Operations.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
OVERSEEING DAILY OPERATIONS IN THE DISPENSARY
Ensure the dispensary runs smoothly and efficiently, following all Local and State rules and regulations
Monitor functionality of all essential hardware and platforms
See that the sales floor, displays, POS and back of house and office are kept clean and organized
COMPLIANCE
Conduct a weekly compliance inspection of the facility using the provided company checklist
Ensure that all employees are current on their Responsible Vendor Training
Confirm all employees are trained on, understand, and follow all company policies and industry laws
SCHEDULING AND STAFFING
Create a schedule appropriate for the season and within the allowed labor totals
Cover shifts when needed and take calls from the staff when off-site or plan accordingly
Schedule interviews with potential employees and train all new employees with the company's SOPs and handbook
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Conduct regular audits of all regulated products and accessories
Avoid discrepancies by reviewing product entry, packaging, labeling and storage
Monitor all regulated product deliveries for compliant practices including completed manifests and corresponding RFID tags
Review accessory inventory and submit orders for approval
MONEY MANAGEMENT
Prepare deposits
Monitor petty cash and drawer balances by performing regular cash audits
MANAGING EMPLOYEES
Monitor the budtenders on the sales floor for customer service, product knowledge and compliant practices
Create meaningful downtime projects with scheduled inventory audits and task lists
Schedule and conduct annual reviews
Create and maintain a positive and productive work environment
Deescalate and attempt to solve minor employee disagreements
Communicate larger concerns to the Director of Retail Operations

QUALIFICATIONS:
Management experience in a retail dispensary environment leading a team
In-depth knowledge of MED requirements
Flowhub Maui experience is a plus
Valid MED Badge
Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills
Excellent customer service experience
Reliable, Professional, and Trustworthy
Ability to work in a fast paced environment with a sense of urgency
Must have the flexibility to work days/nights/weekends/holidays
Excellent organizational skills
METRC experience
Efficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Physical requirements
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs and be able to stand, sit, bend, kneel, crouch, and reach.
Must have reliable transportation to store
