Diesel Mechanic

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diesel engine repair and maintenance, with hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation. This role involves diagnosing and repairing various diesel engines, ensuring all equipment is safe and operational for use.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and heavy equipment.
• Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify issues accurately.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for repairs and fabrication tasks.
• Align and dig components as necessary to ensure proper functionality.
• Operate cranes and other heavy machinery safely during repair processes.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs and services performed.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, including Caterpillar engines.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
• Ability to fabricate parts as needed for repairs.
• Experience with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• A valid driver's license is required.
