The Strategic Sourcing Manager acts as a strategic business enabler and procurement partner to senior leaders across the organization, with a primary focus on IT and technology categories. You will lead high-risk, complex, and sensitive sourcing initiatives, driving cost savings, supplier consolidation, and contract strategies while ensuring alignment with business objectives.

What You'll Do
Your responsibilities will encompass strategic and commercial aspects of procurement, including:
- Develop and execute category strategies for IT and technology services, applying category management principles.
- Lead sourcing activities : RFx development, market and supplier analysis, evaluation strategies, negotiations, and contract awards.
- Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, ensuring sourcing strategies meet business needs.
- Manage supplier relationships and performance, improving quality and collaboration.
- Represent Aviva in contract disputes and negotiations.
- Drive cost savings and avoidance initiatives.
- Collaborate globally to execute multinational agreements.
- Identify and recommend improvements in end-to-end procurement processes.
What You'll Bring
- University degree or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in category management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management—preferably in IT and SaaS.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain principles and procurement best practices.
- Experience in project and contract management for professional and IT services.
- Ability to lead change at the executive level , focusing on service delivery and financial results.
- Understanding of benchmarking processes and supplier performance monitoring.
- Global competence and experience working with multinational teams.
- Assets : Experience in AI/GenAI contracting, business transformation initiatives, and cloud/SaaS environments.
- The salary band for this position ranges from $110,000 to $130,000. Please note that individual salary is determined by factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience, as well as internal equity.
