Overview
We are seeking a skilled ATM Technician to join our team, providing essential maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting services for automated teller machines and related equipment, and cash loading. This role involves working in the field to ensure optimal operation of ATM hardware, network connectivity, and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, mechanical knowledge, and experience with electronic and computer hardware systems. This position offers an opportunity to work independently in a dynamic environment, supporting financial institutions and retail clients to maintain seamless banking operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance, cash loading, troubleshooting, and repair of ATM units and associated hardware components.
  • Install, upgrade, and replace parts using hand tools and specialized equipment.
  • Diagnose issues related to computer hardware, low voltage systems, and computer networking within ATM environments.
  • Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to identify faults and execute repairs efficiently.
  • Utilize testing tools such as ohmmeters to measure electrical resistance and verify circuit integrity.
  • Conduct equipment calibration and ensure compliance with safety standards related to low voltage electrical systems.
  • Document service activities accurately in digital logs and communicate technical findings clearly to team members or clients.
  • Assist with preventative maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and extend equipment lifespan.

Requirements

  • Strong ability to use hand tools effectively for repairs and installations.
  • Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing complex equipment issues.
  • Valid driver's license or equivalent for field service travel.
  • Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members professionally. This role is ideal for technically skilled individuals who thrive in a field service environment and are committed to maintaining high standards of equipment reliability and customer satisfaction.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 45 per week
