Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience with nuerodiverse children. This role involves working closely with clients to enhance their ability to perform daily activities and improve their overall quality of life. You will be responsible for developing individualized care plans, conducting assessments, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Duties

  • Assess clients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans to assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
  • Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving clients' physical, emotional, and cognitive abilities.
  • Conduct discharge planning to ensure smooth transitions for clients leaving care settings.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic client care, including case management and coordination of services.
  • Provide support and therapy for individuals with disabilities, pediatrics, and those on the autism spectrum.
  • Utilize knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and medical terminology in client evaluations and treatment strategies.
  • Engage in early intervention programs for children.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities to stay current with best practices in occupational therapy.

Requirements

  • A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • Strong background in client care techniques related to occupational health and rehabilitation.
  • Knowledge of speech therapy techniques is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children and adults with varying needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $78, $98,000.00 per year
