What You'll Be Doing
* Coordinate and fulfill special banquet and event arrangements * Communicate effectively with guests, staff, management, and other departments to ensure all guest needs are met * Provide outstanding customer service for every guest, every time, including timely responses to guest inquiries and calls * Address guest comments and concerns promptly to ensure resolution * Ensure staff grooming and attire meet company standards; correct deficiencies as needed * Plan events with new and existing clients via phone and in-person meetings to meet sales expectations * Prepare, send, and manage event contracts * Prepare guest charges accurately, review invoices, and collect payment when necessary * Order supplies and linens for events * Attend weekly management meetings * Ensure all banquet equipment and facilities are prepared, clean, stocked, and in proper working condition based on anticipated business * Supervise set-up and breakdown of function rooms; ensure readiness for the next event * Inspect table set-ups for cleanliness, organization, and compliance with group requirements and company standards * Maintain calm, positive verbal communication to ensure smooth event execution, quality service, and adherence to health regulations and corporate standards
Skills You'll Bring
* Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to interact effectively with guests and staff at all levels * Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills * Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities * Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with xawqmyg sound and projection systems is a plus * Experience organizing and planning special or fundraising events * Prior managerial or supervisory experience preferred * Prior Point-of-Sale (POS) system experience preferred

* Full-time position * Rotating schedule including some evenings, weekends, and holidays * Hours may vary during peak seasons
