We look forward to meeting you soon!/ph3Essential Job Functions/h3ulliDevelop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive revenue and market share for the Best Western Plus Carpinteria./liliSchedule and conduct sales appointments, client visits, and site tours./liliBuild and maintain strong relationships with corporate, group, and leisure clients to generate repeat and new business./liliConduct solicitation calls and participate in sales blitzes and community networking events./liliMaintain accurate sales data, track production, and prepare weekly activity recaps for the General Manager and Regional Director of Sales./liliAnalyze revenue trends, STR reports, and market data to identify opportunities and adjust strategies as needed./liliCollaborate with the operations team to ensure guest needs and event details are executed flawlessly./liliProvide support with marketing collateral, proposals, and client correspondence./liliRepresent the hotel at local events, trade shows, and chamber functions as needed./liliAssist with additional sales and administrative duties as assigned./li/ulh3Competencies/h3pThe ideal candidate will demonstrate:/pullistrongCustomer Focus:/strong Responds promptly and professionally to client needs./lilistrongCommunication:/strong Communicates clearly in person, by phone, and in writing./lilistrongTeamwork:/strong Builds positive relationships with colleagues and contributes to team goals./lilistrongProblem Solving:/strong Anticipates challenges and develops creative, effective solutions./lilistrongBusiness Acumen:/strong Understands market trends, competition, and revenue strategy./lilistrongOrganization Planning:/strong Prioritizes tasks and manages time effectively./lilistrongProfessionalism:/strong Maintains a polished, courteous demeanor in all interactions./lilistrongAdaptability:/strong Thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment./li/ulh3Requirements/h3ulliMinimum 2 years of hotel sales experience preferred (Best Western brand experience a plus)./liliProven track record of achieving sales goals and developing client relationships./liliStrong communication, presentation, and organizational skills./liliProficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of Best Western tools or similar CRM systems preferred./liliMust have a reliable form of transportation and a valid drivers license./li/ulpExcel Hotel Group is a fully integrated property ownership, management, and development company enjoying exciting growth.
