It will be strong4 days on-site and 1 day remote./strong/ppLead a team shaping software delivery and licensing capabilities. In this role, youll manage a skilled group of software developers responsible for building software products that enable NI software distribution, and for licensing and entitlement management. Your leadership will guide the team in delivering reliable solutions, driving technical direction, and ensuring projects meet business objectives, while fostering collaboration and growth./ppstrongIn this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:/strong/pulliMentor and develop a team of 5 to 7 software engineers (entry level to principal)./liliDeliver business results by:/liulliDriving new feature development./liliDefining strategic software direction./liliExecuting project management processes./li/ulliOversee continuous delivery and project schedules through ownership and delegation./liliCollaborate across teams to ensure customer success./liliPartner with technical leaders, managers, and product managers on software and hardware strategy./liliCommunicate effectively with stakeholders, including upper management./liliFacilitate agile ceremonies./liliMaintain product health, prioritize bugs, and handle escalations./liliEnsure end-to-end delivery of product releases./li/ulpstrongWho You Are:/strong You are a leader who is self-driven, shows tremendous amount of initiative and gracefully handles ambiguity. You possess strong leadership skills and have a consistent track record of developing and implementing strategies to achieve organizational objectives./ppstrongFor This Role, You Will Need:/strong/pulliBS degree or higher in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline/liliAuthorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now and in the future/lili4+ years of software development experience/lili1+ years of experience in management or technical leadership/liliDemonstrated understanding with the following technologies and concepts:/liulliC++/C# (.net framework, .net core)/liliObject Oriented Programming/liliDesign Principles/liliSoftware Architecture/liliAgile project management/liliExperience with Linux development is a plus./liliExperience in leading the team to deliver project specs and deadlines./liliClear and effective communication. Excels at conveying and communicating messages at the appropriate level of detail within a team/function/department./liliStrong sense of ownership./liliEffective in collaborating beyond department boundaries and across multiple time zones./liliExperience in people management and relevant operational tasks, such as setting goals, effective in coaching/growing team members, fostering a conducive work environment, conducting job interviews, etc./liliStrong technical skills to understand products, make decisions, and unblock the team./li/ul/ulpstrongPreferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:/strong/pulliKnowledge of NI software and hardware platforms/liliExperience in software licensing and entitlement management/liliExperience in software delivery technologies such as software download managers and app stores/liliYou love taking on difficult challenges and finding creative solutions./liliYou anticipate problems and think through multiple perspectives./liliYou are passionate about coaching people and helping them grow and succeed./liliYou communicate clearly.
