Role Overview The QA Analyst will ensure the delivery of high-quality, secure, cloud-based energy management software by designing, executing, and maintaining robust manual and automated testing processes. The role supports the wider development, OT, and infrastructure teams by validating functionality, performance, security, and user experience across all major product components.
They will be responsible for maintaining the bugs and improvements backlog to ensure relevancy of each ticket.
The QA Analyst works closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders to define test strategies, clarify acceptance criteria, and ensure defects are identified and resolved early in the delivery lifecycle.
Objectives and Responsibilities
Design and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts (manual and automated)
Support sprint testing activities including functional, regression, and exploratory testing
Ensure defects are accurately reported and tracked using JIRA or similar tools
Review and maintain defects and improvements backlog for relevance and priority
Collaborate with developers and POs to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
Develop and maintain automated tests using relevant tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
Support UAT activities with internal stakeholders and end users
Champion and continuously improve QA best practices, processes, and tooling
Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as part of the Agile team
End-user support and troubleshooting for software-related issues
Support with other related tasks to meet team goals and objectives
Qualifications and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline or strong relevant experience.
Professional testing accreditation (e.g. ISTQB Foundation or higher) desirable
Technical Skills
Knowledge of REST APIs, Postman, and test data creation
Manual fault-finding using context, experience and knowledge of wider system

Analytical skills for defect detection
