Are you an experienced Mobile M&E Engineer with a strong plumbing bias looking for a stable, long-term role with excellent work-life balance? Join a professional estates and facilities team supporting schools, community centres, and children’s centres across the Camden Borough.
This is a mobile role where you’ll be responsible for maintaining and repairing building services across multiple sites, with no call-out requirement.
Your duties will include: • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance across M&E systems, with a strong focus on plumbing and commercial heating systems. • Working on sealed LTHW systems, including pressurisation units and expansion vessels (servicing and fault diagnosis). • Fault finding, replacing, and assessing system impact on pumps. • Servicing and maintaining TMVs within school environments. • Understanding building controls, actuators, and how plant responds to demand. • Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations and statutory compliance. • Providing a professional and reliable service across educational and community facilities.
What’s On Offer: • Salary: £46,000 per annum. • Working Pattern: Monday to Friday, 7:00am – 3:15pm (36-hour week). • Van & Fuel Card: Fully provided. • Annual Leave: 27 days plus Bank Holidays • Pension: Pension Scheme – employee contribution 6.8%, employer contribution approximately 20–22%. • Stable Contract: Long-term work across schools and community buildings.
Ideal Candidate: • Proven experience as a Mobile M&E Engineer or Plumbing Engineer within a commercial environment. • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing or City & Guilds equivalent. • Strong experience with commercial heating and plumbing systems, particularly within public-sector or educational settings. • Good fault-finding skills and a methodical approach to maintenance. • Full UK driving licence.
