Engineering Manager – Instrumentation

As an Engineering Manager in our Instrumentation Development Services, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of BAE Submarines. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Charge: Oversee the workflow, financial health, and operational performance of our Instrumentation Development Services.
• Building Relationships: Manage business relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring the successful delivery of services across the organization.
• Project Management: Deliver instrumentation projects that meet customer and contractual obligations, resolving engineering conflicts along the way.
• Innovating Solutions: Oversee the delivery of complex work packages, utilizing both new and existing technologies.
• Strategic Oversight: Set policies and ensure alignment with organizational goals, contributing to the overall operating strategy.
• Program Management: Manage engineering programs or projects that encompass major systems, disciplines, and software products.

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Educated: Degree qualified in a STEM field.
• Knowledgeable: Possesses a broad understanding of instrumentation system design, development, and project life cycles.
• A Leader: Experienced in managing and leading large, multi-discipline teams.
• Informed: Familiar with radiation measurement systems.
