SHE Advisor

Salary: Starting at £47,017+ (Dependent on Experience)

As a SHE Advisor, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) strategy. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

• Develop and maintain a robust SHE strategy that aligns with BAE Systems Operational Framework and International SHE Standards (ISO45001 and ISO14001).
• Enhance SHE practices across multiple business areas, providing expert advice on risk management and ensuring compliance with SHE policies.
• Lead innovative SHE change programs that foster a culture of continuous improvement and best practice sharing.
• Ensure compliance with legal and operational requirements, providing assurance across business areas.
• Monitor effectiveness and report on SHE performance to key stakeholders.

Essential:

• NEBOSH General Certificate (minimum).
• Proven experience advising on SHE matters with a solid understanding of legislation.
• Strong incident/accident investigation skills.

Desirable:

• Experience with COSHH and/or Occupational Hygiene.
• Lead Auditor ISO certification.
• Background in a manufacturing environment.
• NEBOSH Level 6 Diploma (or working towards it).
