Nth Degree and Fern Exposition Services have combined forces in the event world providing management, labor, and event production for many of the nation's top shows! We are looking for a Network Administrator to be a part of our Corporate IT team.
The ideal candidate possesses a broad understanding of hardware and software technology and its applications within their environment. Responsibilities include developing and maintaining Nth Degree and Fern's information systems network infrastructure, help build and support our Azure environment, critical applications, and network communications. Identifying and implementing current and new technology solutions as it relates to Nth Degree and Fern's strategic plan.
You will report directly to the Director of Infrastructure and be based out of our Cincinnati office. You will report directly to the Director of Infrastructure and be based out of our Cincinnati office.
For the first 90 days, you will be expected to be onsite full-time . Hybrid work is available after 90 days but a minimum of three days in the office will be required.
Salary is $87,500-97,500
What You'll Do:
Manage, support, and maintain IT infrastructure including, but not limited to:
Environments: Production/Disaster Recovery/Cloud Hardware: Fortigate firewalls, Meraki Switches and Access Points Software: Forticlient EMS, FortiManger, FortiAnalyzer, Microsoft CA and PKI
Maintains, builds, and deploys the various technologies maintaining industry standard best practices. Maintains current knowledge of the various technologies utilized by the organization. Keeping current on all industry-specific emerging technology trends. Monitors, plans, and coordinates the distribution of software/firmware updates and service packs to ensure all systems stay up to date and secure. Daily use of network monitoring and vulnerability/penetration scanning tools to maintain a proper security posture (internally and externally). Reviews security reports from various systems and makes recommendations to management based on findings. Maintains an inventory of all hardware, software, and licensing records. Responds to inquiries from staff, outside vendors, and third-party consultants to provide technical assistance and support. Use of Service Desk ticketing system to centrally prioritize and schedule technical requests/tasks/projects. Keeping service tickets current and meeting Nth Degree and Fern's service level agreements. Provides assistance and mentorship to Service Desk employees as needed to resolve issues. Coordinates specific work tasks with other employees within the department as well as other departments to ensure the smooth and efficient flow of information. Develops, maintains, and supports the management of the company's Information Technology and Information Security policies and procedures. Identifies project timelines effectively and completes them within that timeline. Screens, evaluates, and identifies system design and security related risks for IT infrastructure changes. Document and record all system/hardware change management inside our ITSM, as well as implementing changes in test environments as needed for quality assurance. Develops and documents system and network designs containing key infrastructure components and network flows to support business continuity and to improve consistency in new deployments. Makes recommendations for workflow improvements and ways to enhance efficiency and effectiveness, documenting as appropriate. Works with manager in establishing specific goals for the department; implementing strategies to achieve those goals. Works independently on special IT projects as assigned by manager. Assists IT management team with various administrative duties as requested. Mentoring coworkers and Service Delivery team as needed. Compiles compliance information for examiners/auditors. Participate in our on-call rotation for afterhours, weekend, and holiday support needs

Occasional travel required for site deployments and show support Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Who You Are:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Information Systems, or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required. A Fortigate NSE, Cisco CCNA, AZ-700, AZ-104, AZ-305 is preferred, or similar skillset and ability to acquire one or more of these certifications within a year of employment. In depth understanding of critical networking skills including DNS, Split Horizon, WAN, VPN Tunneling ITIL-4 Practitioner preferred, or at least a solid understanding of ITIL Processes. A minimum of three (3) years' experience in Network Administration, Windows Engineer and/or MCSE roles (supporting Active Directory forests (DNS, DHCP, Group Policies). An understanding of virtualized servers using VMWare or Hyper-V and their networking. Experience with Microsoft 365 Administration, Azure Management, Intune, Autopilot, etc is a plus Working knowledge of Fortigate CLI is required. Azure PowerShell and GraphAPI knowledge is a plus. Excellent communication skills. Critical thinking skills. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work on multiple active projects.
