What You'll Be DoingAs an Engineering Manager in Instrumentation, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our Instrumentation Development Services for the BAE Submarines enterprise. Here’s what you can expect:
- Lead the Charge: Oversee the overall workflow, financial health, and operational performance of our services.
- Build Relationships: Manage business relationships with stakeholders and vendors, ensuring seamless delivery of services.
- Project Management: Deliver instrumentation projects that meet customer and contractual obligations for cost, quality, and timeliness.
- Innovate: Oversee the delivery of work packages involving new products and complex upgrades, utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
- Policy Implementation: Set up necessary policies and ensure effective delivery within your area of responsibility.
- Program Management: Manage and deliver engineering programs or projects that encompass major systems, disciplines, and products.
We’re looking for someone who is not only qualified but also passionate about engineering. Here’s what you need:
- Degree Qualified: A degree in a STEM field is essential.
- Instrumentation Expertise: Broad knowledge of instrumentation system design, development, commissioning, and project life cycles.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in managing and leading large, multi-discipline teams.
- Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience or knowledge of radiation measurement systems is a plus.
